California Summer Camp 2022 at Redwood National
Over the past few months, Erguvan Studio held a series of art workshops in Aurora, Colorado, in partnership with Multicultural Mosaic Foundation. Each event brought the local community together to experience hands-on candle-making and making dishes out of clay!
The first workshop, held on December 7, 2024, was a candle-making session designed for adults. Participants received thoughtfully prepared kits from Erguvan Studio, each box neatly arranged with all the essential materials—soy wax, fragrance oils, wicks, melting pitchers, stirring sticks, and decorative items. The elegant table settings were accented by small floral arrangements. Participants carefully followed the provided step-by-step instruction. The workshop served as an artistic outlet and an opportunity for community members to connect in a curated environment.

Building on this positive momentum, a second candle-making workshop was held on January 26, 2025, specifically tailored for younger participants from the Saturday School program. This event was lively, with children eagerly opening the colorful kits with curiosity. The resulting candles were products of the children’s experiementations with the colors and scents.
The final event, a ceramics workshop, took place on February 8, 2025. Participants of varying ages joined this session to explore ceramic art through nature-inspired designs. Erguvan’s specially curated kits contained clay, carving tools, sponges, and decorative floral elements, allowing attendees to imprint beautiful, delicate patterns directly onto their ceramic pieces.
