Auctorium’s First Studio Shoot with Artist Dray

On March 19, Refia, Seniha, and Leyla from Las Vegas Erguvan met with artist Dray for Auctorium’s first-ever filming session. The team gathered in the artist’s garage studio and spent the day recording, learning about his process, and beginning Auctorium’s journey as a documentary project.

Dray is a Las Vegas-based, internationally recognized painter known for large-scale murals, musical-themed abstract canvases, colorful portraits, and a style that brings street art and fine art together. His public work includes murals in Las Vegas, including at the West Las Vegas Arts Center, and he has also been connected to public art projects in San Francisco. (eatmoreartvegas)

This first shoot became an important starting point for Auctorium: a project focused on listening to artists, preserving their stories, and sharing their creative journeys with younger audiences.

The first episode is now available on Auctorium’s YouTube channel: EPISODE 1: DRAY. (youtube.com)
