California Summer Camp 2022 at Redwood National

On September 1st, the Bay Area Erguvan team joined the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition’s annual Peace Day at Twin Pines Park. The day began with a beautiful interfaith prayer service, where voices from different faith traditions came together in song, music, and reflection — all centered around the shared hope of peace.
Throughout the park, families and community members explored art stations, from painting rocks with messages of peace to Erguvan’s own “Peace Puzzle.” Participants added their piece to a collaborative illustration while also diving hands-first into fingerpainting, embracing the joy (and a bit of the mess!) of creating together.
The event was a reminder that art and spirituality, when woven together, have the power to bring people closer and spark transformation. We left inspired by the many kindred spirits who believe in the same vision: that peace can grow through creativity and community.
