Dinner with Students at Santa Clara University

On June 3rd, Dilara and Sedat from the Bay Area Erguvan team attended a student dinner at Santa Clara University, hosted as part of the Mosaic series—an interfaith and multicultural initiative organized by the university’s Campus Ministry and its partners.

As a gesture of appreciation, our team brought a print of a portrait of the late Pope Francis, originally painted by artist Ali Karatay. The original piece had been gifted to the Pope and now resides in his personal gallery. The print was received with warm appreciation and will be displayed in one of the campus offices—leaving behind a small but meaningful piece of Erguvan.

We’re grateful to the organizers for creating such an open, thoughtful space—and we’re glad to have taken part.
