We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of Network 8 at Rutgers University-New Brunswick on March 20, 2024! Our collective, part of the larger Erguvan Art & Academy family, aims to leverage the power of art to foster human connection, cultural appreciation, and social justice.

Network 8 is an international group of passionate young individuals from diverse backgrounds who believe that “Art will save the world.” We form strong team connections, develop our skills in various art forms, and increase our awareness by learning and discussing world issues. Our guiding principles include unwavering belief, love, kindness, and humility.

We established the philosophy behind Network 8 and discussed two of our core values: Unwavering Belief and Love. We began planning our first major project, Treedome, which focuses on the power of sound and environmental art. Look out for its launch in Fall 2024!
Our meetings included 20-30 minute discussions on topics such as our eight values, followed by fun breather activities. We always incorporated snacks and conversations to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for our members.
After almost a year of online meetings, it was heartwarming to see Network 8 bring a diverse and skilled team together in person. We’re excited about the great projects we will undertake in the upcoming semester.
With the Treedome project in the pipeline, we are committed to making a positive impact through the universal language of art. We welcome all artists to our Network 8 family.
